Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless and/or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value.

We have a commitment to keep as much out of the landfills as possible while giving our customers a really great bargain. Upcycling is just one off those off shoots. Some people also call it “Creative Reuse”. We call it a great value!
Send us photos of how you have UpCycled your estate sale finds from Avalon Estate Sales. We want to show off your creativity!
Last spring my husband Jim and I got in touch with you about a demolition sale you were having in Stone Harbor. We were looking to purchase all the cabinets in the kitchen. You graciously allowed us to visit the home and measure the cabinets.
We did purchase all of the cabinets. We had to rent a moving truck and came to the site on Saturday. The “crew” worked all day to remove the cabinets. They then had to drive to the home my daughter and her fiancé were remodeling in Phoenixville PA and unload the truck. Starting in June my husband began the remodel which included adding a powder room, moving a doorway and window, moving radiators and connections for electric and propane and finally putting in the cabinets. The project was completed in August and the end result was amazing. There is a large pantry in the mud room and the kitchen has a great variety of sizes of cabinets.
I can’t begin to thank you enough for your help and the service you provide. My daughter could never have afforded the beautiful kitchen she got by being able to recycle the cabinets. I have attached before and after pictures for you. Please accept my thanks again for the part you played in helping my daughter and her fiance’s dreams come true.

As you requested last weekend attached are some pictures of the bar we installed with parts from three separate sales. We’ve had more projects but window treatments, a garbage disposal, and landscaping slate isn’t quite as cool looking.
We have to say thank you! thank you! for the blue-print design of this weekend’s kitchen….
We’ll be at the sale tomorrow morning and if it’s still there we might try to buy the full set of laundry-room cabinets to use as a master bath vanity and come up with something creative to do with the upper units…
You will have to tell us what the kitchen sells for so we can keep a data point for what I agree was one of the best I’ve seen in all your sales.
